Who are the Plantfolk?

The Plantfolk are a species of humanoid plant people with unknown origins. The Plant folks seem to contain some natural affinity for magic, some of them appear to be able to take a human form to liv hidden amongst human scosiaty.

Anatomy

The Plantfolk are humanoids who almost resemble humans but only in appearance, their bodies have a raddish like texture and consistency, their hair are made out of leaves and grass lke extention. the color of those is teh same as their internal colorof their plasma (blood).

When sick their their plant hair will start to dry and wilt, this is because their body reabsorbs all the nutrition to restore the inner body, limbs may alos show sings of rot as a symptom

Life cycle

They are most likely born from being planted in the soil from a seed or plant, not sure if its from a sigular plant or from individual pods... they grow up and become adults evetually

They said you are what you eat, most plantfolks eat plants because unlike most fauna they dont have a limit to which type of plants they can digest or not to the point where eating meat is an unsessesary luxury.
